Practice speaking English in an informal setting. FREE and open to all adults in the ESL community. Come make new friends, exchange ideas, develop confidence in your English skills, and have fun!

What to expect:

Conversation about everyday life in the U.S. (like money, healthcare, children, schools)

Conversation, discussions, roleplaying, speaking games

Practice in speaking, listening, vocabulary, pronunciation

What not to expect:

Conversation about politics, religion, or academic topics (like history, science, literature, theory, philosophy, research)

Homework, textbooks, tests, presentations, formal language exercises

Children (We’re sorry, but we cannot provide childcare for this event.)

What else do I need to know?

Participants must already speak some English.

Any adult member of the Henrico/Richmond area ESL community can participate.

Light refreshments will be served.

No need to register, and you don't have to come to every class - just come when you can.
